The 1st & Devs were in action on Saturday.
The 1st team hosted Elite League; Battersea Ironsides in the County Cup whilst the Devs hosted Wey Hill who had beaten them convincingly only 4 weeks ago.

The 1st team had a difficult first half and found themselves 4-0 down at the break. Credit to the Home side who worked incredibly hard second half and having learned some vital lessons against a strong Battersea side the hosts managed to more than match their opponents in a second half that finished 0-0 although its fair to say Manorcroft slightly edged the 2nd half. Well done to Battersea, a win was well deserved however Manorcroft can tale lots of positives from the second half at least! We wish Battersea all the best for the remainder of the season.

The Devs put in another strong performance against Wey Hill, James Gibbs and Bill Mayger grabbing two goals along with Jamie Trisnan as they won 5-3. Having lost 9-4 last time out this was some turn around as the Devs side becomes settled. With a 2nd win in a row Manorcroft will look to build on results and put a push for promotion back on the cards. Well done to all those involved.
